SANDWELL
STORIES
ABOUT PROJECT
How important are Greetings cards to the people of Sandwell? What are their favourite Black Country sayings? What happens in one of West Brom’s oldest buildings?
Sandwell Stories is an audio project produced by Multistory that shares the everyday experiences of local people and records their stories in a bimonthly podcast. As part of this project, photographer and producer Emma Case made portraits of the people she met along the way, from market traders of West Bromwich Indoor Market to members of the Knit n' Natter groups. The resulting photographs can be viewed in an exhibition at Central Library, West Bromwich during Blast Festival.
