Looking for Sandwell
Niall McDiarmid has made photographic portraits of people in Sandwell, building a contemporary portrait of local communities over the last year. Through this series, he has built a striking series of images that reflects the multicultural nature of the area.

ARTIST BIO
Niall McDiarmid is a Scottish photographer based in London. His work is about documenting the people and landscape of Britain. Recent exhibitions have included British Portraits at the Oriel Colywn Gallery, Colwyn Bay, North Wales in 2016; Here and Now: London Portraits at the Museum of London in 2017; and Town To Town at the Martin Parr Foundation, Bristol in 2018. He has published three books: Crossing Paths, Via Vauxhall and Town To Town. His work is held at The Museum of London, the Martin Parr Foundation and the Sir Elton John Photography Collection.
