Join us for a guided walk around Tipton where poets and local historians will bring to life the facts and fables, the truth and tall stories of Tipton, now and then. Alongside Emma Purshouse, readings by poets Billy Spakemon, Brendan Hawthorne, Casey Bailey, Dave Pitt, Kuli Kohli and Roy MacFarlane will take place. Places will be limited. ARTIST BIO
Emma Purshouse is a freelance writer, performance poet and comedienne who hails from the City of Wolverhampton. Emma performs her work nationally, and is a published author (writing both for adults and children) and poetry slam champion. She is part of the Black Country collective Poets, Prattlers, and Pandemonialists whose main aim is to take poetry to people rather than to wait for people to come to poetry. She has a degree in English and an MA in creative writing, enjoys writing flash fiction and has won and been shortlisted for both local and national competitions.
